My AT1481DV Ascent TV is locked, anyone know how to unlock it? My little sister was playing with the remote control and now a key appears on bottom left and the screen is black. Anyone know how to unlock it without a pin? Please & Thank You.

To block certain television shows that are not age appropriate, the parental lock default password is 6688.

To prevent the machine from play DVDs that are not age appropriate, the default password is 1225

If she activated the Child Lock feature which prevents unauthorized viewing of the TV a key symbol will appear on the screen. This will lock out all remote functions (except Standby). To unlock the TV, press and hold the F key and press MUTE. This will unlock the TV. Please note that the only way to activate or deactivate the Child Lock feature is via remote control

I was wondering if you managed to find a way to unlock the remote. My nephew did the same thing to mine and I can't find ANYTHING on how to fix.
