I have a similar problem wich really gets on my nerves,at the end of flushing i get this loud bang when the water stops filling, it is supposed to be a silent flush type, but oh no!
it is a multi flush valve you have it the cistern,they all seem to do that,some are worse than others,not really much you can do unless you change it,and try a new one
