Be aware I changed the fuse aswell and it worked for about 3 months then the bulb blew completely, which wouldn't be a problem except that if you let the bulb blow completly there is a problem with sagems that the set keeps regesting as overheated after you change the bulb sagem acknowledge but don't do anythin about it your better off going on ebay and finding a supplier for the bulb I did and it was under £100 with new fuse but I left it too late and the tv still turns itself off after about 30 mins good luck !

Perhaps I have the same problem.
Where is that fuse exactly located?

My sagem broke also. After phoning Austria (number in the Sagem Brochure) they advised me that the symptoms sounded like the bulb had broke. The symptoms were it would not start from standby, the lamps would just flash and then go off.
So, I ordered a lamp for £400 plus pounds, thankfully they dont have one in stock and I today changed the small fuse (0.33 Amp Glass) available at Maplins for about 1.50 for 10. I put it into the lamp holder and it works. So 15p has saved £400. So check the fuse first and save a lot of £'s.
