my bathroom lights wont come back on?

I have halogen lights in my bathroom, when they've been on for a period of time and they are switched off they wont turn back on straight away.Is there a problem with the switch ( which is a dimmer) or is it something else?

Have these lights each a separate transformer or are they operating off the same transformer.
If so it looks like a problem with the transformer, where it may be overheating. Perhaps the halogens in use are overated i.e the combined wattage exceeds the wattage rating of the transformer. If so, try using the lights and removing one/two bulbs and see if the fault disappears !!
