My partner has one of the above and found last night that although the power switch was on and the red light illuminated on the switch nothing was working on the boiler. It has been in the premises approx 2.5 years. Could you please advise.

Download the user guide for this boiler from:www.idealboilers.com/docs/pdf./Isar_he_users_guide.pdf. You will probably find that the system water pressure is low. Bringing the pressure up will allow the boiler to run and is a simple job if you follow the instructions and turn the valves off afterwards.
