I have a Miele De Luxe G542 that leaks slowly throughout the wash cycle and after completion of the wash. It's not a broken hose (the visible ones hanging behind it) and when I've tipped it on it's side to have a look underneath there seems to be a reservoir of water still sitting in a plastic container (which emptied somewhat as we tipped the dishwasher over).

Why is there water still collected there after the wash has finished? Does this have something to do with the slow on going leak?

my miele g572 dishwasher arms don't spin during the wash cycle. They work fine for the rinse and hold cycle.

I have a Miele G572 that just started leaking and I believe it's the rubber seal around the bottom of the door. I opened the door and noticed that the rubber is breaking down and small pieces of rubber are coming off which is probably preventing it from sealing properly. It is not a lot of water but does of course require replacing the seal - which I've just ordered by calling their service number. This may be your problem.
Open the door and feel along the bottom of the rubber seal and you will soon tell whether it is in good shape or not.
