Philips[whirlpool] freezer AMB579K?

Would like to change my thermostat, how differcult/easy would this be or would it be easier to get a new freezer.
The compressor/motor is forever running does not switch off even when the thermostat is switched to nearly off.

HI Rob tried it up and down, same problem .
Looks like a new freezer.

Hi, It will in hot weather. Down it down to its minimum setting. The units made in the UK are only built to run ata MAXIMUM ambient temperature of 29C. If this does not work then save yourself some money and get a new freezer as you have a system fault.
