I have an L.G. front loading washing machine that I purchased in 2005. My machine as worked perfectly up until Friday 18th of July 08, then I tried loading it for a wash it fills up ok but the machines drum does not turn around it's trying with a gentle rocking movement as if trying to turn (wash). I also get a swirling sound when the machine is in cycle.

check that the belt hasnt slipped off as the belt turns the drum. I have an LG washer too. if not the belt (in case its cog driven) check those are working ok
