I HAVE A YAMAHA 1100 95 MODEL AND BURNED THE LAST PISTON IT COST ME ABOUT $500 BUT REPAIRED IT MY SELF ITS NOT BAD TO TEAR APART AND PUT BACK TOGETHER JUST ALITTLE COMIN SENCE REQUIRED THE MECHANIC I TALKED TO SAID THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WAS SAND IN THE WATER SYSTEM AND THE LAST CARBERATOR IS PROBABLY RUNNING LEAN (NOT ENOUGH FUEL) I CLEAND MY WATER SYSTEM BY PULLING LINES OFF AND FLUSHING THEM WITH A WATER HOSE I REMOVED THE CARBERATORS AND CHANGED THE PISTON THAT WAS BURNED AND ALL SETS OF PISTON RINGS. USE PARTS FICH AT CYCLEPARTSWARHOUSE.COM EASY TO FIND PARTS AND THERE THE CHEAPEST I FOUND.
