Worcester 350 Combi High Temp?

The water temp. has become very hot occasionally leading to a (overtemp.) shutdown. I suspect the factory set heat modulation...Point R on the flow diagram. Sods Law: that is the page that is missing from my servicing instruction booklet. Anybody able to help in what it says?
