How can I change a 2 way switch?
I have purchased some new 2 way switches but these are different from the old ones and the wiring is as well
The new switches have 3 terminals at the top and the same at the bottom, top says Com, L2, L1 bottom says L2 L1 Com. The old switch not only turns the lights off on the landing but also turns a light on and off outside.
The wiring on the old switch is as follows
Top says com with nothing in it, next says 2 way and has 2 red wires in it next says com and has nothing in it last one says 2 way and has single red in it.
Bottom of old switch has no names on it but is wired as such, terminal one empty, next has single red, next has single black and the last has single red.
Sorry question is so long, but please help me.
