have a Samsung tv/vcr combo mod #cxc1912. Put new batteries in the remote, plugged it in, but when I press the power button on the remote, or if I press the power button on the set a tiny light that says "power timer" starts blinking, but the set doesn't come on. It blinks ten times then stops. It was in a vacation rental house that a friend just bought, so there's no manual and he knows nothing about the set, so no help there. What can I do?

if you can hear it click when u try turn it on the capacitors in the powerboard have gone undo back of tv u will see 4x ballooned capacitors replACE THESE WITH 16V ONES AND ENJOY

Hi i have something like it on my tv.
Try turning it on then pressing the menu button asap then you should see something like power out timer (i use it incase i fall asleep and the tv turns itself off)
