how to bypass the immobiliseer on ford transit van ?

my s reg transit won;t start i think the immobiliser is on put key in and nothing i have ignition lights

Paul, your van has the light in the clock because it is a totally different van to that which the question has been asked about. If I knew the answer I would have posted but I have corrected the incorrect response because that wont help either.

MrMPuk at least the other guy gave an answer yours was just a snipe at another persons answer and my transit has a led in the clock

paul, July 2008
Unless the van is TD or Petrol then it wont have an ECU. Also there is no LED in the clock on these. But other than that nigel could be onto something.

Hi Colin, the immobilizer circuit is part of the engine ecu it can be bypassed but it involves a lot of wiring changes!! not realy a job for the average diy idealy a good autoelectrician!. When you go to start what does the LED in the clock do? is it on steady or does it flash? as the flashes can be read as a fault code and pin point what the problem is
