I need to be able to take 50% off the total sale, and find the manual unfathomable! I would like to have two buttons programmed, one for 10%, one for 50%. Could someone explain it in layman's terms?

Hi.
Yes, it is confusing because you have to set the status.

Try this:

Turn the key to P mode
Press your %1 button
001 SUBTOTAL
1000 CASH/TEND
Press your %2 button
001 SUBTOTAL
5000 CASH/TEND

Turn the key back to reg, ring up some items, and try the percentages. You might have to press SUBTOTAL before pressing the percent buttons.
