Dishwasher pulses when switched on?

Have a diplomat integrated dishwasher, when I switch it on it pulses, (stops and starts) for most of the cycle, it still washes but ever so slowly. Anyone have any idea what could cause this.

Hi Allan, it would depend on the model.It will say adp8332 etc.It could be the pcb if it is the model with the electronics in the base.Can you supply model number?All the best.
