Not heating?

My Diplomat APD 8322 is not heating the water hot enough to melt the washer tablet on any programme. It does get hot but not hot enough to even melt the wax on a dishwasher cleaner. Any ideas?

Is it possible to replace the HOOKING BLOCK for Diplomat ADP8342?

The hooking switch has snapped. I can see I can buy a replacement but not sure how easy it would be to replace it at I am not an electrician or plumber,
