No water supply to my bosch dishwasher ?

My dishwasher works, however there is no water coming from any of the usual places. Its making a bit more noise than usual too. Has the pump broken ? Has anybody any ideas ? I would be truly grateful for any help. Thanks

First check the filter in the water inlet hose-( usually at water tap end not the dishwasher.)
Next check the hose itself is not blocked along its length.
Next check the rotating spray arm small water outlet holes ( like a shower head ) they block up easily
If none of these probably the pump is us

that is a very obscure question... if no water is coming from the usual places it definitely does not work !

so from the start... has any of the plumbing been fiddled with or altered..

is there water going to the inlet of the machine.

when the machine is asked to operate do you get the usual filling noise or is it different or absent entirely...
it could well be the solenoid that allows the water to enter the machine that has failed.. or is not being asked to operate because your control buttons are no longer functioning or it's brain has gone...

front panel button failure is something i have come across and it is easy to see why it happens.. so is the machine reacting in the normal way when the buttons are pushed... do they feel the same as usual.. are there differences between one and the other

it does not make sense to jump straight to the pump as your problem.. so many other parts come in to play before it does..

hope this helps
