my shower switch clicks when i pull it but does not come on.could it be a f?

when i pull the shower cord it clicks but shower does not come on. Could it be a fuse? thanks for any help with this matter

If the fuse blew you should investigate why.
Fuses are fitted for safety your shower may be taking too much current for the fuse and / or the safe current carrying capacity of the shower supply cable.

if not it could be the fuse/mcb or a worn out switch.
