My hotpoint aquarius 1100 washer dryer - dryer not blowing hot air?

My hotpoint aquarius dryer is not drying clothes as seems to be blowing air but not hot air, if this is not working does it also affect the wash cycle? Is it easy to fix?

you probably need a new heater element any electrician should be able to check if your one faulty with "ohm-meter"
