How can I repair a ripped Vhs Video tape?

How do I repair a ripped VHS tape- Fujifilm 6hour T-120 EP Mode
Sharon, August 2008
Stick it together by applying correctly-trimmed pieces of "3M Magic" adhesive tape to both inside & outside surfaces.

Open the tape guard by pressing the tiny button on the front RHS of the cassette, into the housing.

The cassette's spool locks are released by pushing a ballpoint pen upward into the circular hole on the rear UNDERSIDE of the cassette (continuous pressure required, it's spring-loaded with no catch).

It would be advisable to transfer the recording to another medium (e.g. DVD-R) following a successful repair, and discard the repaired cassette.
