How do I set up the fuel pump timing on my massey harris 745D Tractor?
I removed the fuel pump from my Massey Harris tractor to repair a small frost crack, I was carefull not to rotate the pump or the gearing -- my father of 80 years lifted the pump and rotated it several times knocking it out of timing.
-- can you advise the simplest method of setting the timming of the pump without me having to strip out the engine/remove the timing cover. --
The tractor --MH 745D with the L4 Lepoard engine and CAV fuel pump.
