Horrendous Noisy Spin Hotpoint First Edition Washer WMA 22?

please help my washing machine works brilliant, apart from horrendous noisy spins, sounds like a couple of gigantic golf balls inside drum

the chances are that it needs the drum bearings replaced which can be quite costly. its a very common problem especially on those hotpoint appliances
