What is an F1 fault on a Diplomat ADP8332 Dishwasher?

My ADP8332 is about 18 months old so out of guarantee. I set it to wash yesterday evening and this morning found that it had water in the bottom but was showing error -F1. The rinse light is also on. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

Hi Sylvia, F1 fault on these machines is an NTC break. That is the sensor in the base for the heater. The part is called a feeler and about £30 lus vat and postage. It is really an engineer job as the part is underneath and the edges are very, very sharp.
All the best.
