hotpoint wf630 fault -08?

what is the problem with my hotpoint wf630? it has had some water drop on top of it. I thought i had dried it out but the f-08 keeps coming up when i ask it to just do a spin please help.

I think the f08 fault code relates to the heater element or relay. Be aware that a fault in the relay can cause damage to the pcb module. Hopefully you will be lucky and that won't be the case, otherwise it could be an expensive repair. Good luck.
