light there is anoblong junction box with two cables conn,
iwant to install normal light should i use ajunction box or ceiling rose thanks michael.

by UK law this must be installed by a competent electrician.
since this is a relatively easy task ( removal of the ceiling rose and wiring inside fluorescent fitting ), and you are asking for help proves you should not be doing this yourself.
