hi i ran the install disc for lexmark x5470 and each time it froze the computer when i uninstalled the disc computer worked fine any idea's thanks

Just a guess that you have Windows Vista and you are using an XP disk? If this is the case go to www.lexmark.com and download the Vista drivers.
