Thanks for that, i connected the display lighting side of things and the CD player now plays CD's, shows display and keeps clock and bass setting etc in memory. But can't for the life of me get the sound connected up.
If you imagine you're looking at the back of the Lagunas speaker plug where the wires go in and with the connector/release on top...

My wire colours are as follows..
1 Yellow
2 Pink
3 Yellow with white stripe
4 Pink with red stripe
5 Grey with green stripe
6 White with green stripe
7 Yellow with black stripe
8 Pink with black stripe
get a faint sound of my CD playing when i bunch all the wires together but can't seem to get any sound from individual speakers. Yet i know they work from the cassette player that was in there previous, and i know my CD player works from the previouse car it was in. I hate these cut and twist jobs on car stereos, but that's how i brought the car, so no choice in the matter.
