have'nt used boiler for coupple of mounths. switch it on it fires up for 10 mins then locks out.plenty of oil in tank thats higher than boiler. have blead it a few times and oil seems to be get'n through fine. cleaned filter on pump. the longer i leave it the longer it runs (only for about 10 mins).

do any rads heat up in the 10 mins?
no....check circulating pump is running ok

if so, and you get flow in the 10 mins it does run,
then first check your flue hasnt been blocked or over grown during the summer (i use the word summer loosely!!)

if all is ok, and your burner is not for some reason re-cycling flue gases...it could be a number of things....

better get the serviceman out.....
