How to open a Zanussi washing machine.
1. Zanussi design engineers are probably Italian - not so smart. There is no back to the Zanussi machine. It is split in two half sections. It is not intuitive to see how it comes apart.
2. Use your digital camera or phone to take photos as you dis assemble. Do sketch for any wiring you undo. This is how!
3. Look for a plastic plug at bottom of each side and remove it with a small screwdriver.
3. inside you will see a screw and unscrew it.
4. Then unscrew top screws.
4a. Now you can remove the "back" half.
5. secure the weight of the drum.
6. lift out the spring supports with a bent cloths hanger.
7. remove the drum and separate to fit new bearings.
A cordless drill with hex attachment is ideal for this.
8. Reassembly is retro sequence and screw the hidden "Itialian" screws last.
No wonder we have FIAT cars!
