Mighty Lite Homelite 26SS Weed Eater Gas/Oil Mixture?

I need to know the ratio for this model. I do not have the owners manual
Cheryl - Olathe, KS, August 2008
Consult the recommended dilution ratio on the bottle of two stroke oil you are going to use. Always dilute at that ratio and you won't have any problems.

The engine doesn't have a clue what ratio you are putting in, so unless you are using the manufacturers own oil, any ratio recommended by the manufacturer can be disreagarded.

Too much oil and it will smoke and oil up, too little and excessive engine wear leading to seizing will occur.

If the oil states 50:1 then dilute it at 50:1 and this will give your engine the correct protection.

A 100ml bottle of 50:1 2-stroke oil is perfect for adding to a 5 litre can of petrol- shake it up and it's mixed.

If you don't require 5 litres, then you can easily obtain a 2-stroke mixing bottle which is suitable for gauging the correct dilution ratio a litre at a time, which is a more suitable quantity for home owner use.

2.6 oz 2-cycle oil to 1 gallon gasoline
50:1

Hi Cheryl: Listen on almost all two cycle engines the mixture ratio is, now taking into mind that you have the small bottle of two cycle oil the ratio is one Small bottle of two cycle oil to one gallon of gas. you need to have a one gallon gas can. to mix the fuel fill the gas can about 1/4 of the way up. Then add the two cycle oil and shake the can real well to mix the oil and gas up . then fill the gas can the rest of the way but not completely full allow some room for the fuel to expand the can in the heat. Hope this is of help to you:
