its a tape video camera, not a digital dvd camera.
you need either a suitable tuner card installed in your pc
or something like "EZ Grabber"

you need a usb lead to directly link a camera to computer . If dvd camera finilise it and you can than watch it on computer . Even if mini dvd as most dvd trays fit mini ones in too. We do this all the time as we don't have a usb lead . .hope it helps
