My Potterton Profile 50e will not light. ?

There is a dull droning noise that doesn,t sound right and it will not ignite. Have tried switching it all off and on again still the same.

if you are getting no clicks for pilot light , then it could well be the fan. if you turn the boiler stat off and the noise stops , then this is probably it
