performa washing machine- tub won't spin on spin cycle?
I have a performa heavy duty washing machine ( made by maytag) 2 yrs old that won't spin on spin cycle leaving clothes soaking wet. The belt is good and spins fine in either direction. We called a repairman - he charged us 70$ for house call & wanted 350$ to put in new transmission. A new machine doesn't cost that much. What can I do?
