What can I do about my Vauxhall Zafira's inbuilt car alarm?

My Vauxhall Zafira's alarm goes on every now and then after I lock the car. I had to attend to the car in the car park at my work place as the security rang me to say that the alarm keeps alarming intermittently? What is wrong with it? Please help me.

there is a power sounder inside the n/s wing and these give problems your vauxhall dealer should stock its a common problem about £60 you can fit yourself it doesn't need to be programed
