Be careful here - danger of death. Carefully discharge the large start/run capacitor in the main electrical box, and check that it hasn't gone short circuit. If it has, this could well be your problem.
If not, does the motor sound unusually strained/laboured? Try running it dry without the pump head for A FEW SECONDS. You'll need to secure the pump body/swash plate box covers, or get rather oily!
