Dishwasher program stops?

Have a diplomat integrated dishwasher ADP8242 about 5 years old. My problem is dosen't matter which program I use it stops just after 4 min. Normal use is the super wash and the light just stays lit, opening and closing the door dosen't continue the cycle. I've got to press and hold the prog buttonin untill the 2 outside lights glow, shut the door and the water empties and then stops. No fault codes are shown. Can anyone help please

Hi Foxy
Thanks for your reply. Tried to reset a lot of times last night and thought I would try another cycle. Low and behold it run right through the cycle to the end with the Super prog flashing as it should. Has run another full cycle since with dishes in this time. If the same fault repeats I'll change the PCB as per your advice. Thanks again

Hi Gordon, it will be the pcb that is faulty.4 mins is the time the programme takes to get to the heat cycle and it then stops as the memory has frozen. The part number is 816290672 and it is £115 plus vat and postage. It is an easy repair, take off the decor door and then the 8 torx screws for the control panel.Take off the wiring plugs 1 by 1 and refit. All the best
