Detergent drawer either will not latch closed or does not latch properly and opens as soon as washer door is closed.

Hi Don, as with most detergent drawers, once they will not latch it is best to replace them.Usually they have small plastic lugs that break off,when that happens get a new one.If you use only tablets like 3 in1 or 5 in 1 and you do not use the long cycle, you can just put the tablet in the cutlery basket,works just as well.All the best.
