Peugeot 406 2.0 hdi 2001?

I have an ecu light on my car which is stopping me from going over 3000rpm.I am told it is in the limp mode. How do i get it out of this?I am told that on the computer readout it says the fuel pump relay is faulty.Does any one know where this is located? After i have changed it do i need to get the error removed by computer or will it automatically go when the error is sorted?

Hi Mark, the relay module is by the engine ecu on the drivers side inner wing near the headlight, when it's been replaced you will need to get the fault code erased from the ecu by using a diagnostic code reader
