UPVC Door hinge problem?

Hi i tried to adjust my upvc door by using an allan key in the white plastic part at the top of the hinge it moved the door too far over so now when i close the door it scrapes on the lock i tried to move the dial back again but it has threaded the allan key hole. My own fault but how can i get it to go back?

it sounds like you have flag hinges on your door and what you have moved is the cam part. this moves the door away from the frame in a left or right camber motion. if you intended to move part of the door left or right then on the side of the hinge (side pointing to the handle) there will be a hole, probably covered with a plastic cap, containing an allen type screw. turning this moves the door left or right and don`t worry this will be metal. also on the underside of the hinge there is another cap covering another screw which moves the door up an down.
however to move the top one back to original position have someone take the weight of the door by lifting up on the handles whilst you turn with an allen key.
if the allen key hole is completely rounded off then gently tap a slightly larger flat headed screwdriver into the hole and then move while someone takes the weight
