Profile 60e APS?

Ive replaced the PCB and APS on my Potterton Profile 60e after it stopped firing up - the PCB was defintely fried.

The boiler refuses to firem unless I gently blow into the red tube to the APS - the fun is running.

What could this be? How do the 2 pipes control the APS?

Thanks...

They suck and blow onto a daphragm which opens a miroswitch, try reversing the pipes.
