please please can someone help how to set up a modemrouter to broadband ntl i have a safecom modem router i want to set up kids computer every one says its easy NOT but i am a woman i think i have everything including 1 network card please help wirelessadslmodemrouter ansit1.413/itu g.dmt 802.11a/802.11b/802.11g this is what i have if this makes any sence to any help please desprate cant get to work

You don't say which bit you are having problems with. The router ormally comes with easy to follow instructions about plugging it in to the upstream (internet) connection. Remember it has to be aq cable modem built in to it NOT a broadband one if you are connecting via NTL cable service.

Once it is plugged in plug an ethernet cable from a PC with ethernet, normally built in these days and you can now set up the router via a browser page. Normally 192.169.0.1.

Now follow the instructions.

As to the wireless connections. Use the Windows wizard on the PCs to se that up.
