If it goes to green then was the picture ok at turn on and after a warm up it goes green? And if so when it goes green does the picture look ok. If so it MIGHT be that darn bad solder joint on the video board that is most often stuck to the picture tube scocket. Unplug the set and let it set for a while. Then with great care ( even off and unpluged you can get a good hard shock or even break your picture tube) To find it use strong close-up glasses (reading glasses of 2.75X or better) and a bright light. Use silver type electronics solder and a soldering pen on the small connections not a soldering gun. You should have someone with you just in case.
