Blaupunkt Car 300 radio on Vauxhall Nova ?

My radio has gone to safe mode because the battery was disconnected. I have the code but what do I have to do prior to entering the code ?

Leave it switched ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset

This could be up to 640 minutes (nearly 11 hours)
