my van is miss firering can you tell me what is causing this problem?

i have just had some work done on it but it came back the same he changed the oil put 2 new coils and new plugs and leads but there is no change the vehical is a ford transit 2.3 dual fuel

thanks for your suggestions MR M Puk there are no lights coming on but the van is now back firing i took it to a mechanic and he has changed the 2 coils and plugs and leads and changed oil ect

If it's not the coil then you have dropped a valve, these dual fuel engines really aren't made for running on LPG.

one of the coils for the spark plugs is on the wrong one. is there any warning lights on the dash ???

to be honest ive never worked on one,but i'd probably treat it like any other.1st step would be code reading it for any fault codes.followed by a valve clearance check and compression test before digging into fuel pressure and live readings.does it miss on both fuels?
