Hi,ive just got a 1800 escort van (2000 model) non turbo,gear box is a little stiff & dosnt like reverse,have to jolt it in quik which cant be any good....any ideas please...thanks
could be box or clutch.draining box oil into clean container will give you a better idea.check oil with a magnet and hope for no metalic particles.box oil almost never checked/changed on these so they do go.refill with correct grade and a molly additive wont hurt and see from there.
