Grundig TV dead, loud ticking?

Hi,
My Grundig GUVCD2800 28" flatscreen CRT tv is no longer switching on. All that happens is a loud fast ticking noise from the rear left side looking from the front. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Its possible that a power surge may have zapped something in the internal power supply, your only hope would be return it to your dealer for a repair astimate, it may or may not be expensive but it looks like your only option
