Powermax 155x boiler?

I have the Potterton Powermax 155x boiler and British Gas have condemed it because it is missing a bracket on the flue pipe, I have phoned Baxi and they said this is correct but as Im not a corgi registered fitter I cannot order the part.

Can anyone explain this part to me, where it fits and where I can find one from, surely I dont need to be corgi registered to fit a bracket in the loft.

any bracket used should be a purpose bracket for that system/manufacturers flue unless un obtainable. That was the standards request on supporting flues and classifying their risk.

parts center and ask for flue bracket for potterton powermax whatever " diameter

It sounds like the flue just needs some extra support in the loft.
Phone Corgi to get phone numbers of Corgi Engineers in your area.
Or check the diameter of the flue then check your local plumbers merchants. You may be able to find something similar for use with Rainwater downpipes,or try making something to support it yourself.
Do NOT remove any part of the flue pipe.
