fitting a old waste pipe to a new washer dryer?

Your Open QuestionShow me another »
Can I use the old waste pipe from my washing machine and use it on my new washer dryer, ?
The washing machine waste pipe is connected to the sink and is quite long, the new washer dryer waste pipe is way too short so it wont reach, can I undo the back of the washer dryer unscrew the short waste pipe and remove it and then unscrew the back of the old washing machine unscrew the waste pipe and fit that too the new washer dryer. in the manuel it recommends not to use an extension but in absoulte need the extension must not exceed 150cm in length, i think it is just over that length.
Thanks :)

over extending waste pipes can lead to faults whilst washing.
