My washing machine isnt going into its cycle its saying (test) and then turning and spinning its not taking any water in ? can anyone please help ?.

Thanks everyone for your advice, problem with TEST on the washing gave the missus a headache all day, just came in from work, read your comments you all solved it, but she thinks i have, just relaxing now with a vodka/redbull cheers all

mine was reading "test" pressed both on button and start buttons togerter several times until "doff" came up and now its fine, thanks

Great advice!!!

We took £2 coin out of the pump and then pressed the on/off and start/cancel button and everything worked a treat - saved us calling out the engineer. Many thanks for the advice

we have same washer and also reads faut sometimes if you press both on/off and start/cancal buton at same time and hold for 3-5 seconds it should desplay def on ordef off you need it to desplay def off repeat pressing and holding untill you acheave this and press start this might work or as your not taking warter in you could have a blokage in the pump fan we had onn which turned out to be a bite of plastice bag which had raped around a small magnetic propellar inside the pump housing which caused the mashine to stop taking on warter if you or your partner are a good diy or like its relitivly easy to do but if not dont try and make sure to unplug it befor taking anything apart
