Our Samsung ER 4940 has quit responding and the screen says "Closed". ?

How do we fix this. Our manual said to sign a clerk on, but we have no idea how to do that.

Despite following these instructions the closed sign didn't go

Actually, the clerk keys are labled ABDE. The are the last 4 keys on the top row on the right. (They skip the C so it isn't confused with the clear key.

To sign on just press clear and one of the clerk keys: A, B, D or E.

To sign off press 0 (zero) on the numeric keypad and the signed on clerk.

Hi. The clerks are either labelled A,B,C,D or there will be a button labelled CLERK or CLK or something similar. If you just have a clerk letter, then just press the clerk you wish to sign on. If you have a button labeleed CLERK, then you press the clerk number on the numeric pad first e.g 1 then CLERK.

Hope this helps
